Placed figure 8/body band on left wing A: Adult barred owl hit by car last night, left coracoid fractured and displaced, right pelvic fx should heal with cage rest. Significant trauma to both eyes but hard to determine how visual bird will be until blood resolves from within the eyes. P: Monitor use of right leg/foot, monitor vision, monitor figure 8/body band on left wing - change every 3 days with gentle PT. Collect blood, IOPS, and fecal tomorrow. place tail guard. Vet check Friday with wrap change. Rx Tramadol, start Meloxicam 5/1, fluids, gabapentin.
